Saint Michael with a call to prayer

The French design shows Saint Michael on the left with large brown wings, a golden halo, blue tunic and red cloak. He holds a raised sword and golden scales above a defeated figure among rocks and flames. A green landscape and blue sky complete the scene. Priez pour nous appears above the image and Saint Michel Archange below it. On the right, black prayer lettering fills the white background. The composition is horizontal.

A prayer against evil and darkness

The text invokes Saint Michael as prince of the heavenly host, asking him to defend the faithful in spiritual combat. It requests help against darkness, evil spirits and Satan’s deceptions, referring to the salvation of humankind and Christ’s Church. An aid for entrusting personal intentions in faith.
