Baby Jesus of Prague. The Infant Jesus of Prague is a wax statue representing, as its name suggests Jesus of Nazareth as a child. According to legend, it is the work of a monk who has carved on the orders of Jesus and would have belonged to Saint Therese (who had taken the name of religion Tereza de Jesus), which would be forwarded to a friend, Maxmiliena Maria Manrique de Lara y Mendoza. His daughter, Polyxena, who have reported to Prague.L church where the statue, Sainte-Marie-de-la-Victoire, located in Mala Strana is - precisely - dedicated to the victory of armies Catholic and imperial troops on Czech defending the Protestant Reformation in Bohemia.
