Saint George Incense Grains – 1 kg for Prayer and Protection

Saint George incense for courage in prayer

In a difficult season, a simple ritual can make room for prayer. Saint George incense grains accompany a request for courage and spiritual protection. The 1 kg pack suits regular devotion, meditation or a novena.

Colourful grains for the incense burner

As pictured, the grains are red, green, black and gold-coloured. Place a small amount on glowing incense charcoal in a suitable heatproof burner to bring fragrance to your prayer time.

The symbolism of Saint George’s fire

Saint George is a figure of courage in the face of evil. In traditional spiritual belief, his “fire” represents protection against harmful intentions and the symbolic cleansing of a place. Some devotees also pray through his intercession for people with illness, including skin eruptions or goitre. Such prayer is a spiritual practice: the incense does not treat these conditions or promise a particular outcome.

For a novena or a caring gift

Burn a few grains during each day’s prayer alongside a novena candle and the prayers in a booklet. The generous pack also suits a shared prayer space or a thoughtful gift for someone facing a hardship.
