Jacqueline Rastoin (1934-2008), a translator, journalist and novelist, moved away from traditional Catholicism in the post-war years and rediscovered Christ and the Church through contact with Judaism. A burning quest for truth opened her to thoughts and experiences as varied as those of the Italian philosopher Ceronetti, the great figure of Hasidism Rabbi Mendel of Kostsk, the saints of Carmel ... This quest is enriched by countless friendships such as those of Raimundo Panikkar, Cardinal Lustiger or Emil Cioran as well as those made in the framework of Jewish-Christian friendships.
