An idea that follows the exhibition of Marie-Laure Chazel-Lesec, The Bible and Contemporary Art.

We invite you to discover works made from a biblical verse chosen by artists of different faiths or even atheists.

The biblical text is the heritage of humanity and for believers, interpreted in the light of the Spirit of God, testimony of a word that is authoritative in their life.

It must be restored in the book, in its context, in the translation used and in our understanding of what the Bible itself is. The work of art is a testimony, that of an artist's subjective view of the Bible, on the particular resonance of the chosen verse with his own vision of the world and his creative universe.

This crossing of testimony makes this tool a particularly suitable support for the catechesis of children and adolescents.
