Gold-plated brass standing reliquary – Rays and cross, 28 cm

Golden light to honour a relic

This gold-plated brass sunburst reliquary combines elongated rays with an ornate central surround. The dark centre highlights the golden decoration. A cross crowns the design, while the decorated knop and flared foot with foliage motifs continue its traditional appearance.

Recalling the witness of the saints

In Christian tradition, a reliquary honours the memory of the saints and their lives of faith. The cross connects that remembrance to Christ, while the rays evoke light. It supports veneration and prayer directed towards God, drawing attention to the spiritual meaning of what is displayed.
