Your questions

Which candle should I use?

A standard tea light is suitable. Place it flat inside and follow the candle manufacturer’s instructions.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes, in a space sheltered from rain and wind. Bring it inside after use to help preserve the finish.

How should it be used safely?

Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface or use a suitable hanging support. Keep flammable materials away, supervise the flame and allow the lantern to cool before moving it.
