18K Gold-Plated Saint Rita Medal – Patron Saint of Hopeless Causes

A Saint Rita medal for entrusting difficulties to prayer

Some periods of life require particular patience and courage. The 18K gold-plated Saint Rita medal offers a tangible sign to keep close when seeking to nurture faith, entrust an intention to prayer or show support to someone facing a difficult time.

Elegant and luminous, it combines devotion to Saint Rita with the refinement of a gold-plated religious pendant.

An expressive depiction of Saint Rita

The medal depicts Saint Rita wearing her religious habit and holding a crucifix between her hands. Her contemplative gaze expresses her devotion to Christ, while three cherub heads enrich the composition. The words “Sainte Rita” make this important figure of Catholic tradition immediately recognisable.

Its 20 mm diameter allows the face, veil and crucifix to remain clearly visible. Weighing only 1.5 g, the pendant is comfortable to wear on a suitable chain.

Why do people pray to Saint Rita?

Saint Rita’s life was marked by family conflict, bereavement and many personal trials. Despite this suffering, she chose forgiveness before entering the Augustinian convent, where she devoted her life to prayer.

Her story explains why she is known today as the patron saint of difficult and impossible causes. The faithful turn to her not as a guarantee of a particular result, but as an example of courage, faithfulness and hope when a situation appears to have no solution.

A spiritual pendant to wear or give

Worn close to the heart, this religious Saint Rita medal accompanies daily prayer and offers a reminder that hope can remain present even in the midst of hardship.

It also makes a thoughtful gift when words alone feel insufficient. It may be offered to someone going through a difficult period, to a person devoted to Saint Rita or for a First Communion, Confirmation, birthday or important moment in life.

Why choose this Saint Rita medal?

• Elegant and luminous 18K gold plating
• Detailed and expressive religious relief
