Healing prayer

"The spiritual service that I have been giving for more than ten years to suffering people in a therapeutic community of the Renewal in the Spirit (Palermo - Santo Cuore) has almost obliged me, in the very interest of this service, to deepen the many doctrinal and practical problems related to the prayer of healing, to offer the fruit of my reflections and experiences to others, both to my closest collaborators so that they may fulfill their office with greater awareness, and to the faithful relatives who came to ask for prayer so that they may understand the meaning and value of their request, the motivations and the field of action of our service.

Thus, each week, in the context of prayer, I devoted a significant amount of time to speak about the mystery of salvation, within which healing is part. I have dealt with the same theme in numerous courses for those engaged in this service.

This book summarizes part of this teaching: it brings together, in chapters and paragraphs, everything that can be useful in a seminar course to prepare for the exercise of this beautiful ministry."
