Teething necklaces are perfect for babies who are teething, to soothe their discomfort. Place the necklace around the baby's neck, leaving a gap of one or two centimeters.  For the first time you put it on, leave some extra length of ribbon to tie a knot, so it can be easily loosened and retied, and then cut off any excess ribbon to avoid any safety hazards.
