Mary and the Child surrounded by violet flowers

On the left, Mary and the Infant Jesus wear crowns and halos. Mary sits in brown and beige clothing with a blue veil; Jesus wears a mauve tunic. Scapulars hang from their hands. Two columns of violet flowers border the portrait. On the right, a black heading sits above a violet italic prayer on a pale background. The image shows the French version; choose your language from the variants.

Mercy, trust and faithfulness in trials

The prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel invokes Mary as Queen of Angels, refuge and advocate of sinners. It entrusts a personal intention to her while recalling God's mercy. The believer then expresses the wish to turn to her in trials, suffering and temptation, and to encourage others to love and invoke her. The favour sought is a request in prayer.
