The Holy Bible - Bible Crampon

On the occasion of the 5th reissue of this Bible in its 1923 edition, we are giving it a new lease of life with a text entirely recomposed for increased clarity and readability. A colossal work that allowed us to integrate the titles and subtitles directly above the paragraphs concerned and no longer as in the facsimile edition available until then in a difficult to read and usable block at the beginning of the chapter. This presentation makes it easier to read the sacred text since everything is divided by subject into as many paragraphs. It goes without saying that what has made it successful up to now has been rigorously preserved: the first undisguised translation of this work originally published in 7 Latin-French volumes (1894-1904), simply improved by those responsible for the 1923 edition.
The compact one-volume edition published by Desclée in 1904 had considerable success throughout the Catholic world during the first half of the 20th century, before it was replaced by up-to-date Bibles in the 1950s, with unreliable translations.
In this new edition, a long preface (30 p.) written by Canon Crampon shortly before his death (1894) gives us all the details on the meaning of his work and his translation.
